We I had my repeat NT scan. :) They were definitely big enough for an accurate measurement. YAY. Both babies over 7.4 cms long.
Baby A NT measurement was 1.5mm, heartbeat 141
Baby B NT measurement was 1.0mm, heartbeat 167
Both babies came back with good/low risk results. Downs was 1:5250, trisomy 18 and 13 was 1:10,000 (lowest risk possible)
They looked great. Moving around alot, they are laying head to head. When I scan in the pics, I hope to show you the 4D of them laying next to each other. One was sucking its thumb. Way too cute! We *think* we know gender. But we're not telling until after the 18 week scan. LOL Sorry. :)
Anatomy scan will be May 8. Can't believe they said to expect 1 hour for each baby for the scan, so we're talking 2 hours for the entire thing! YIKES...
One another note, I have been taking belly pics. :) Not great, I HATE the stretch marks, but what can you do? So here's the progression. Not sure I have grown from 9 weeks to 12 weeks, but I feel "firmer" and fuller, like thicker I guess. I am loosing my waist and can't bend well anymore! :) Silly preggo belly.

Early movement
SO I think I felt Baby A? move last night. The u/s tech told me A is more right/front and B is left back. So last night I was holding Maddy on my lap and she was putting pressure on my belly, and I felt a wave/ripple type movement and then the hardness where the pressure was shifted and got softer - like A moved away from Maddy sitting on her.
Yay - so crazy to be my 2nd pregnancy but 2nd and 3rd babies. I know you show earlier and feel the baby early with a 2nd pregnancy, and obviously are bigger and feel things earlier with twins, but to have both 2nd pregnancy and twins! LOL Yikes! I'm going to be HUGE in no time!
So I see my OB next Thursday for a check up, the NT scan is rescheduled for April 1st. So glad Bob gets to come for that one.

11 week NT ultra sound
I had my NT scan today. Both babies looked great, Baby A was 11wk1d, Baby B 11wk. Both were wiggling around, we saw hands and face structures, and "MAYBE" boy parts on Baby B. Definitely a nub, but girls can have that as well this early, but Baby A did not have the same nub.
I think I was still in shock and denial that there is 2 in there. I was almost surprised to see both babies today - looking like babies and moving and seeing fingers and toes. Like I was told 1 baby for so long, then they said 2 babies, it was hard to accept that there was still 2 in there- like one might not make it or whatever. WHEW - so cool today to see them and so we have decided we're telling as of today. A lot of people know I'm pregnant, but not with twins. Its time to drop that bomb!
The bad/good news today was that although week wise we're far enough along - the babies were to little to measure the NT length. They need to be 4.5cm, and they were 4.1 and 4.3cm. We get to come back in 2 weeks for another scan (at 13 weeks) and then back again at 18/19 weeks.
Bob obviously could not be there so my Mom went which was special for her. And now Bob can now come back with me in 2 weeks and see the twins with me.

Surprise
Had an ultra sound with my OB today.
Good news: The subchorionic hematoma that was causing the spotting is not there anymore! YAY.
Great news: What they thought was the blood spot, really was a second sac. Baby B was hiding.
ITS TWINS! Both are measuring right on target, HB 163 and 166!
Holy Cow!- Can you believe it? They missed the sac in 3 u/s! Crazy!

More drama?
So I've been spotting a bit here and there plus having noticable cramps that I did not have with Madison.
I'm scheduled to see the RE on Friday, but I called today to make note of the spotting and cramps. Well they had me come in otday.
I have a subchorionic hemotoma, basically a blood clot between the placenta and uterus. Its small and most likely not a problem. BUT I am on limited activity. No lifting, no exercise, nothing strenuous, no BD. I go in on Friday anyways to check again. I got the big lecture from the Dr on taking it easy, basically, I'll be fine, unless I make it bleed more, so rest so the blood will reabsorb. Yuck.. The drama starts!

We're pregnant!
Its official - 2nd beta came back at 560.
We are having a baby in October, we get to take a look in 2 weeks, see if there is 1 or 2 in there. :)
